Hope you all are having a fantastic day! Today I’m gonna show you how we can learn English through movies. I’m sure many of us already tried to learn from English Movies; some got succeeded & some unfortunately failed. OK, let’s have a short trip over it.

What’s the most fun way to learn English?
If you’re tired of going to class or reading books or reading newspapers or learning difficult grammar and vocabularies, there’s nothing better than learning English through movies and film.

How?
Is it really easy?
Today I wanna share you some tips on learning English with Hollywood movies. Movies will help you to learn new words & phrases. So you are learning and at the same time you are enjoying the movie. Isn’t this the easiest? Ok, hang on with me & I will make you think that it’s definitely the easiest.

Why Learning English with Movies Works?
Perhaps you are still wondering if you can really learn any English by watching movies! I’m damn sure you are thinking that after all, watching movies is supposed to be fun. So how it can be a way of learning?  Am I right?

Three Reasons….
01. You can learn real English, not textbook English.
02. You can learn tough words meaning, where and how they are being used.
03. You hear how things are said and repeat with them.

Here are three reasons why I’m recommending you to learn English in this way.
Number one, you can learn real English, not textbook English. The English you learn through textbooks is not what you’ll hear people say. For example, in beginner English classes, you might have learnt how to say “it’s a quarter to seven” or “it’s raining cats and dogs”. While these are correct, we almost never say these in real life. In contrast, the English words & conversations in movies are very natural. So this will definitely help you to improve your speaking English.
Number two, you can learn what tough words mean, where and how they are being used. By watching movies you can learn tough words & how they are getting used.
Number three, by watching movies you can hear how things are said and you should repeat with them to improve your pronunciation skill and speaking skill. This is the best practice I believe. You should watch lot of movies & follow all these three ways to make your English level high.

Some Tips for Learning English through Movies….
  • Choose the movies that can make you stick to watch till end.
  • Keep your dictionary alongside you when you watch movies.
  • Download & install Google Translate app in your mobile & keep it open when you watch movies.
  • Take note of unknown words or phrases and repeat it oftentimes.
  • You have to keep on pausing and repeat the sentences over and again.
  • Learn with movies & enjoy it at the same time. Because if you just want to learn English without enjoying the movie then it won’t be possible. You will get bored.
  • You can’t remember these words afterwards. But don’t worry keep watching & practicing; it will definitely help you out.
